Website chat gives a visitor a way to ask while browsing. To be useful, the message must become a conversation a team can own, with clear session, origin, and data boundaries.
Mojeep’s Web Chat channel has session and origin controls in the implementation. Avoid collecting sensitive data unnecessarily and never expose another organization’s history. See the unified inbox, customer service solution, and AI agents product.
From visitor to conversation
A visitor starts a session from an allowed web origin; messages enter the conversation model for a team reply or configured agent assistance. Do not infer identity or link a visitor to a customer record without verification.
Controls before launch
Set allowed origins, rate limits, privacy notices, and human handoff behavior. Test session expiry, reconnects, and abuse handling.
Visitor experience and conversation context
Web Chat starts with a visible website widget: a visitor opens it, submits an inquiry, and the message reaches Mojeep’s ingestion path. A visitor may initially be anonymous and should not be treated as a confirmed customer record without suitable identification context. Ask for information needed for follow-up when the visitor chooses to provide it, explaining its purpose. CRM can retain available context, but the widget does not grant visitors or agents access to other people’s private records.
From a visit to an answer or follow-up
Visitor → message → conversation → configured agent or employee → permitted knowledge or context → answer or handoff. A general question may use a published policy. A buying inquiry can enter lead qualification if its tools are enabled. An issue needing follow-up may become a ticket. A widget on a site does not mean every action is enabled. Test a request for human help, connection loss, and a question without a reliable answer.
Domain configuration and testing
Administrators must configure conversation settings and allowed origins and test the widget on the intended site. Each website needs its own confirmed domain configuration before the widget is made available. Check Arabic, English, mobile, and keyboard use, then verify conversation continuity and visitor context. Never expose internal keys or records through the chat interface. Review human handoff to define team ownership when an automated path cannot complete a request.
Start with a suitable workflow
Define the task, tools, and knowledge source with your team, then test permissions and handoff before rollout. Request a demo to discuss a configuration for your organization or review pricing.
Frequently asked questions
Must a visitor create an account?
That depends on the site flow and configuration; a chat session is not the same as a verified identity.
Can the chat be restricted to approved websites?
The implementation includes origin controls; verify the production configuration and actual domains.
